1. Using Edlune

By creating an account or using Edlune, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Edlune. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. Users under 13 may only use Edlune through a school or institution that has entered into an appropriate agreement with us.

3. Content & intellectual property

Edlune and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Edlune and protected by applicable US and international intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal study purposes only.

You retain ownership of content you create on Edlune (e.g., notes, flashcards). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely as needed to provide and improve the service.

Certain study materials hosted on Edlune, including official practice papers and resources, may be © their respective publishers or organisations (e.g., College Board for SAT/AP, ACT Inc.). These are reproduced solely for non-commercial educational use. Edlune is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board, ACT Inc., or any other testing organisation. We will promptly remove or update any material upon a valid request from the rights holder.

4. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
  • No attempts to access accounts, systems, or data without authorisation.
  • No automated scraping, crawling, or reverse engineering of our services or content.
  • No sharing of paid features outside your account or circumventing access controls.
  • No use of Edlune to cheat on standardised exams or violate any testing organisation's rules.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be clearly presented at checkout. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Unless otherwise specified, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your account settings. Refund eligibility will be described at the time of purchase.

6. Third-party services

Edlune may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment processors, analytics providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

7. Disclaimers

Edlune is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that content is error-free, complete, or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or secure. Study outcomes depend on many factors; we make no guarantee of specific test scores, grades, or academic results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Edlune and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD.

9. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws in your state apply and cannot be waived. For US users, any dispute not resolved informally shall be subject to binding individual arbitration under the rules of a recognised arbitration body, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

10. Termination

You may stop using Edlune and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or misuse the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Edlune after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
